Happy Friday and Favorites

Hi Friends! I'm hoping you all had a great week. I have to be honest - this week was a little rough on me. The non-stop rain, the croaking of my beloved washing machine, having two packages stolen off my front porch - and a couple other things I won't bother you with, completely bummed me out, man. In the big picture, these are not things I should get worked up about - especially after last weeks horrible school shooting in Parkland, FL. So, I choose to move forward with gratitude for all the blessings that I have. :)

Those packages that were stolen - one of them was from Chewy.com. Who steals dog food?! The other was a little piece of equipment that I ordered to make beautiful sparkly things for you all, so that's an annoying set-back. I will say though, Chewy.com is AWESOME! I called their customer support to let them know what happened and the rep sent out a replacement order right away, like while I was on the phone! She didn't have to do that, but I appreciated it so much. It took a bit of the sting out of having someone steal my STUFF!

Moving on, moving on! :) Several of the blogs that I follow will sometimes do Favorite Things-type posts, and I love reading them. So...I've decided to do that for you. I've put together a few of my current favorite things. I hope you enjoy - and let me know what some of your favorite things are!

1. I have rosacea, y'all, and I hate it. Loathe it! Over the years, I have tried SO MANY things to help reduce the redness on my face, but I've only found a couple things that actually work for me. This precioussss is one of them - Cicapair Tiger Grass Re.Pair Serum. It soothes my sensitive skin and really helps to reduce redness. I use it in conjunction with a prescription gel (Mirvaso) and this combination is making me happy!

2. I have always loved Mrs. Meyers Clean Day products. I pretty much exclusively use their hand soap, dish soap and multi-surface cleaner in my kitchen. The hand soap is seriously one of the few that doesn't absolutely ravage my poor hands. I wash my hands A LOT and I have very sensitive skin. This new Rhubarb scent is AMAZING! Rosemary is my second favorite.

3. & 4. These two go together. I love loose leaf teas - and I have a couple little brewing mugs, like this one. This one keeps the tea warm and cleans up easily - boom! I recently found a place online to order loose leaf tea from - and holy moly, they have such a great selection! The Tea Spot - have you heard of them?! I've tried about a dozen of their loose leaf tea blends and each one has been fabulous. The Coconut Crush Chai is my current favorite, followed closely by Climbers High Chai. I love Chai - what can I say! They also have tea sachets, if that's more your thing. Check them out!

5. Let's talk eyelashes for a minute! I've had lash extensions and loved the heck out of them! It just wasn't an expense that I was willing to sustain though... :( sad face. I decided to try Rodan & Fields lash boost, and whoa! This stuff works! It took right at six weeks before I saw a difference, and then it was like overnight my lashes were super long! I love it. I think it's reasonably priced - and I bet you know someone that sells Rodan & Fields. Call them up and get some of this for yourself! If you don't know a R & F rep, message me and I'll send you a couple contacts. I have friends in that biz!

6. And finally...I mentioned earlier that I have super sensitive skin. My hands are always so dry and sad, especially if I have to wash with ...gasp, anti-bacterial soap. Owie! I found this cute little tub of CeraVe at my favorite place (HEB!) last week. I love this stuff! It's fragrance-free, not at all greasy (yay!) and lasts allllllll day.

Thanks for stopping by! I would love to hear what some of your favorite things are.
